For orders containing alcohol, a valid ID is required to be scanned at delivery.
These proof of age documents are accepted:
- Driver’s license issued by an Australian state or territory, or another country
- Australian or foreign passport
- Photo Card issued by the Commonwealth or another State or Territory
- Proof of Age Card issued by the Commonwealth or another State or Territory
- Keypass Identity Card (issued by Australia Post)
MILKRUN partners with various third-party delivery providers to fulfil MILKRUN orders, including the delivery of liquor and tobacco. Some providers are able to accept digital IDs or licenses, however not all of them can. Having a physical ID.
Some partners may verify ID by requiring the delivery driver to scan the ID for the relevant details (DOB and expiry date). The driver does not have access to the scan of your ID and they did not take a picture of your ID.
Your name, date of birth and expiry date from your ID may be encrypted and retained by our delivery partners for compliance purposes, though the scanned image and any other data collected from the ID will be deleted shortly after your age is verified.
