After entering in your delivery address, if alcohol is available in your area, you will see the category on the homepage of the MILKRUN app.
In some areas, your groceries and alcohol can be delivered together for a single $5 delivery fee. If the alcohol store is not attached to a grocery store, you will need to place 2 separate orders.

- You will be required to show a valid physical Drivers Licence, Passport or National ID to the delivery partner upon delivery. Unfortunately, digital license's are not accepted.
- The delivery partner will capture a scan of your proof of age document for verification purposes of your DOB and expiration date. The delivery partner will not be able to access the image.
- Orders are unable to be left unattended.
- Orders will not be delivered if the delivery partner determines signs of intoxication.
FAQs
Why can I not have alcohol and groceries delivered together?
For some stores, your groceries and alcohol stores are not next door to each other, so the driver can't pick up both at once. If this is the case, you will need to place 2 separate orders at checkout. Don't worry though! You can still get your groceries and alcohol delivered - they will just have to be in separate orders.
What happens if my liquor item(s) is out of stock?
You may be offered a substitution if your alcohol item(s) is out of stock. If your order contains groceries as well as alcohol, unfortunately, a substitute will not be offered. You will not be charged for any out of stock products. The rest of your order will still be delivered.
What happens if I am not home or unable to meet the delivery partner? Can you leave alcohol unattended?
All orders that contain alcohol are required to have the delivery partner capture a scan of your proof of age document. We are unable to leave the order unattended. If you are unavailable, your order will be cancelled, returned and refunded.
If I miss the delivery, can I have it redelivered?
We are unable to redeliver orders with alcohol. Please note, if you were refused delivery for showing signs of intoxication, you will need to wait 24 hours to place another order with alcohol.
The delivery partner refused to deliver.
Alcohol is unable to be delivered to customers who show signs of intoxication or left at your door unattended. To comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol Legislation, the delivery partner will use their best judgment to determine. If a delivery partner determines you may be intoxicated, we will be unable to deliver the order. You will be refunded and we will not be able to redeliver it.
Why has my alcohol order been cancelled?
Unfortunately, the entire order will be cancelled and refunded if:
- Unavailable when order is being delivered
- Unable to present a valid Proof of Age Document
- The receiver of the order is underage
- The receiver of the order has displayed signs of intoxication
The entire order will be returned, this may include your groceries.
Why did the delivery partner scan my proof of age document? Can the delivery partner see it? Is it on the delivery partner's phone?
As part of our ongoing commitment to responsible service of alcohol, ensuring we do not deliver to recipients who are underage, your delivery driver may ask to review and capture the identification of anyone receiving an order containing alcohol. The delivery partner is never able to see the scan.

My recent MILKRUN order has exceeded the order limit of drinks, what does this mean?
While we understand this restriction can be a bit frustrating, please understand that it has been a policy we have had to implement to help us better ensure that we are taking the necessary precautions to serve alcohol responsibly. Our benchmark is based on order frequency and number of standard drinks.
